When we have learned about the economy-Don't Laugh-in first grade terms. That means we have made a t-chart using magazines and labels after discussing wants and needs. Then, we compared and contrasted producers and consumers making a Venn-Diagram and listing examples of each. We also reviewed how money came into existence. I ha(Too bad I have not taken my camera to school since Mother's Day-need to pack tomorrow for End Of Year Fun during the last 8 days!). In the mean time, most students (as homework) have produced (made) things that they are going to sell to other first graders (consumers). Pictures are student's markets.
