Word Work Assessment and a Freebie

A formal assessment (test) is not always necessary, but the gradebook does not disappear. Therefore, I have created a test for the Greek and Latin root. I do expect the students to continue looking for the studied root in their reading, in their real-world, and in their conversations and writing. The true assessment is when students apply the knowledge they have learned.

• I used Building Vocabulary from Word Roots (for grades 3-11)  as an inspiration. There is also Building Vocabulary :Foundations (for grades 1-2).
